Gestapo Informer (1945)
In a camp of displaced persons waiting for repatriation, a Gestapo informer who had pretended to be a refugee is discovered and exposed by a camp inmate. The faces are the most striking part of this photo. On them are the judge’s aplomb, the denouncer’s rage, the Gestapo informer’s resignation, and faces of apathy and anger that frame the picture. The picture draws the audience into that anguished circle of the wronged. Had Cartier-Bresson been a painter, these would have been the allegories of Rage and Shame standing before Justice with a Greek chorus in the background. And we are that Greek Chorus. The intimate circle ensured that we share not only Agony, but also Shame and Responsibilities in the Aftermath of a War.

Starting with the emotion love was hard to start on the emotion that everyone has in their life either being love from another or love for something you enjoy. However love can become overwhelemed and obsessed which will be possesive and evil.
Renate and L.Fritz Gruber 1989. Annie Leibovitz photogrpahic sequece of the collector couple,is undoubtedly and unusual example of her work: she dispenses with all elaborate staging and captures the loving embracing couple with an apparently spontaneous snapshot. i really like the black and white images which highlight the couple in their embrace with each other. The way her head is resting within his arms shows how safe she feels with him and the comfort she feels when she is within his arms.
As love is such a strong emotion within someones everyday lives, i would like to capture images of the people that i love, or mean a great deal to my personal life. This could be family, friends, or anything that i have a passion for.
dark image with the ruins in the backround and the sunlight shining of the dusty ground brings a sense of lonelyness and emptyness. With all the lives lost it shows how much of an infact this had on America.
When looking at peoples emotions in portraits ect, i came across an image i found the most overwhelming and had an impact on the people who see it. Nick Ut is a photographer for the Associated Press who worked out of Los Angeles. His best known photo is the Pulitzer Prize winning picture of Phan Thi Kim Phuc, who photographed a naked 9-year-old girl running toward the camera to flee a South Vietnamese napalm attack on the Trang Bang village during the Vietnam War. From looking at this image the look of horror on the childrens faces show how traumatic the situation is. This image of the girl has also been used as a cropped image of just her, this shows the symbolism of fear. This shot is most famous for the pain and suffering on the boy on right left and the naked girl.
The way the boy and girl in the backround are holding hands shows that in there situation they need to help each other, it makes us feel sorry for the little boy because he seems that he doesnt know why he is running away. The soilders in the photo have a big impact on the emotion towards the children, the soliders look like they are fleeing the children away from danger.
