Klaus Rinke

After experimenting with portrait emotions i researched on photographers who used the same technique as i did. I found a photographer called Klaus Rinke who also used the idea of whoever was taking the picture to say emotions to him to show the emotion within his facial expressions. However he expressed the emotion within his hands and face. (See book)

I decided to look at other pieces of work by Klaus Rinke , i come across a series of photographers called "mutation" which was all his separate emotion pictures all together. In relation to this i set up a portrait shot and asked my friend to imitate some examples of Klaus Rinke's work.

Here are my examples of Klaus Rinke's work:

I decided to change the color to black and white so my photographs are similar to ones of Rinke's. I think these images are unusual and you don't know what emotion the photogrpaher was trying to acheive which makes the photos more intresting and mysterious. Here on my flickr account are the original color images of my examples of "Mutation" and other images i had done.
